Jakarta Provincial Government is about to manage street vendors during Car Fre Day (CFD) on Jalan Sudirman-MH Thamrin. As much as 1,200 vendors will be relocated into special places.

"The priority is for vendors who selling not on the roadside such as vendors in Kebon Kacang, beside Plaza Indonesia. Also in Dukuh Atas, beside Sarinah, Jalan Sunda, Jalan Sumenep and Gate 1 Senayan," he said, Monday (10/19).

"One vendor will get a 2x2 meter tent to avoid them selling on the roadside," he added.
The vendor will be also given Bank DKI Jak Card identity. They must pay retribution Rp 3 thousand per day. Their products will be tested by BPOM.
"The street vendor arrangement will be started next week," he disclosed.
